Hello friends and readers of Fortress William, 

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for a great year! In terms of traction my blog has hit a new record of 26,653 views in 2021. This is beyond amazing for me. 

While this blog has largely been experimental, I could have never imagined this many people viewing my website. Especially given the first year of my blog when my views were less than 2,000 overall. 

While I am unable to dedicate as much time to this blog as I would like, and maybe in the future that might change, I always try to come up with original thoughts and ideas that I can share with others. Whether those ideas end up being dead wrong, like in predictions I made for Re:Zero, or take a swipe at mob mentality, or are just me voicing ideas out loud, I am grateful that those ideas get time of day with someone, even if it’s only for a moment. 

While I am still on the fence of what direction I ultimately want to take this blog, or how to continue this experiment, I am grateful to you, my friends and readers. 

Thank you for your engagement, thank you for the likes, thank you for the comments. 

This blog is one of the few things I can proudly say that I have done something worthy of my time. It gives me purpose throughout the year, and in the end is a place where I can be genuine with myself and others. I can’t thank each of you enough. 

I wish everyone a happy 2022. May you accomplish your purpose this year, and beyond. May your year be prosperous, happy, and healthy.
